Get Big Money Out of Politics

Walter will support the overturning of the Citizens United decision and the reduction of the influence of big corporate money in politics so the voices of everyday people count more than the voices of the rich and powerful.

Restore Accountability in Government

Walter will support banning members of Congress from trading individual stocks so there is no conflict of interest.

Protect Civil Rights for All

Walter will support the Equality Act so that people cannot be discriminated against because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Defend the Right to Vote

Walter will support the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act so that discriminatory voting practices cannot occur.

Expand Access to Voting

Walter will support automatic voter registration and making voting easier, not harder.
